Five New Outbreaks Of ASF in Latvia

LATVIA - Six new cases of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been reported in both wild boar and a domesticated pig.

The outbreaks were located in Valka county, Madona county, Rezekne county and Daugavpils county.

In total the outbreaks lead to the deaths of four animals, (one domesticated pig, three wild boar) and the destruction of 24 animals, (22 domesticated pigs and two wild boar).

The source of the outbreak is inconclusive.
