African Swine Fever Reported in Russia

RUSSIA - There has been one new case of African Swine Fever (ASF) in Pskov oblast in the west of Russia.

The case was confirmed on the 19 September 2014.

ASF infected a wild boar and as a result the animal was destroyed.

The source of the outbreak is still inconclusive.
