New Case of African Swine Fever Reported in Ukraine

UKRAINE - On the 11 October one new case of African Swine Fever (ASF) was reported and confirmed in northern Ukraine.

The Chernigov outbreak affected one domesticated pig and left another 266 pig susceptible to the fever.

Only the infected pig was slaughtered.

The source of the outbreak is inconclusive.
