Four New Outbreaks of Classical Swine Fever Reported in Latvia

LATVIA - Four new outbreaks of classical swine fever have been reported and confirmed in the Balvi, Kraslava, Baltinava and Rugaji regions of the country.

The outbreaks have led to a total of five cases of the fever. 

All of the affected animals, which were wild boar died. 

The source of the outbreak is still unknown.
