POLAND - Five wild boar tested positive for the African swine fever virus between 24 November and 2 December.
In Follow up report No.27 dated 5 December to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), the veterinary authority in Poland reports five wild boar testing positive for the African swine fever virus.
The report covers the period from 24 November to 2 December.
These cases were detected at four different locations in Podlaskie, a region known to be infected from previous outbreaks and under proper restrictions for African swine fever. It is in the east of the country, bordering Belarus.
