JAPAN - Porcine epidemic diarrhoea (PED) has been confirmed at a ninth farm in Miyazaki prefecture.

Late last week, a new outbreak of PED was confirmed at Kitamata in Miyazaki prefecture, according to Nishi Nippon.

This brings to nine the number of farms confirmed with the disease in the prefecture, which is in the west of the main island of Kyushu.
