Estonia Reports 30 More ASF Outbreaks

24 February 2016

ESTONIA - The latest outbreaks of African Swine Fever to be reported in Estonia affected wild boar only.

Fifty-six wild boar died in the thirty outbreaks.

The outbreaks occurred in many different provinces all over Estonia, including Tartu, Järva, Jögeva, and Rapla.

Movement controls, quarantines, disinfection and stamping out are all being used to stop the spread of the disease outbreaks.
