Novus Employees Donate One Million Dollars to Local Charities08 December 2015
US - Since 2010, Novus and its employees have supported local charities through the United Way’s Annual Giving Campaign
Over the past five years, Novus International, Inc. and its employees have pledged one million USD to local charities through the United Way’s Annual Giving Campaign. This year, employee donations totaled more than $105,000. Novus matched employee contributions making this year’s donation total over $210,000. Contributions supported the United Way of Greater St. Louis, United Way Heart of Arkansas, United Way of Southwest Missouri, United Way of Brazoria County and United Way of Greater Houston.
“From my experience, giving through the United Way allows me to have the greatest community impact. United Way does what no other organization can – it brings communities together to strengthen dozens of local health and human service agencies that provide assistance to those in need,” commented Jeff Klopfenstein, Novus International’s President of the Methionine Business Unit.
Novus maintains a long tradition of involvement and support for its local communities. The Company encourages its employees to donate to causes important to them, with their gifts matched by the Novus Gift Matching program, and also engage in volunteer activities in local communities.
