US Feeder Pig Imports from Canada Up from Last Year
US - Preliminary data on live animal imports from Canada to the US are collected by USDA-APHIS and published by USDA-AMS. Starting with feeder cattle, (as this number impacts placements of cattle into feedlots), year-to-date we have imported almost 173,000 head, reports the Steiner Consulting Group.
