African Swine Fever Found on More Pig Farms in Estonia

ESTONIA - There have been 19 new outbreaks of African Swine Fever in Estonia.

Three of the outbreaks occurred on pig farms and the rest of the outbreaks affected wild boar.

There were 22 deaths in pigs, out of a susceptible population of 11,366. The rest of the pigs were destroyed to prevent the disease spreading.

18 wild boar were killed in the outbreaks.
