Thiamine

(648) Most cereals are good sources of thiamine and it is not normal to supplement the diet but if it is considered necessary levels of 1-2mg/kg are required. The signs of deficiency are reported to include poor appetite and daily gain, often vomiting, low body temperatures and poor heart rates. Sudden death may also occur.
