National Pig Association THE VOICE OF THE UK PIG INDUSTRY NPA is active on members' behalf in Brussels & Whitehall, and with processors, supermarkets & caterers - fighting for the growth and pros-perity of the UK pig industry.

There will be two adverts:

One advert will seek applicants for three independent non-executive board members of the new Agricultural and Horticultural Levy Board.

The other will be for six board members, who will also be chairmen of the sector companies (BPEX, EBLEX etc). John Bridge had been appointed chairman designate of the new United Kingdom statutory Agricultural and Horticultural Levy Board.

From April 2008, the new levy board will replace five existing levy boards - the British Potato Council, the Meat and Livestock Commission, the Milk Development Council, the Horticultural Development Council and the Home Grown Cereals Authority.
