Aust farmers to benefit from Chinese urbanisation
05 March 2007AUSTRALIA - New research shows shrinking land availability and a changing diet in China are opening up big opportunities for Australian farmers.
The Australian Farm Institute says rapid urbanisation in China is affecting the country's ability to produce.
Executive director Mick Keogh says there are two key areas for Australia.
"One, through an increasing import by China of animal products, so things like dairy and meat for example," he said.
