Print This Page New feed mill to quadruple production
NEW ZEALAND - Construction of a $3 million feed mill is under way at Morrinsville feed firm Seales Ltd. MORE OUTPUT: Seales Ltd's new feed mill under construction. |
When it opens in July, the mill is expected to nearly quadruple the firm's output from almost 16,000 tonnes of feed a year to nearly 60,000 tonnes. The company manufacturers dairy, calf, pig, poultry, sheep and deer feed which is predominantly supplied to farmers in the Waikato.
Operations manager Allen McLeod said the existing mill, which the new computer-controlled mill will complement, was operating 24 hours a day, six days a week.
