ECUADOR - With an export of 20 breeding pigs to Ecuador, TOPIGS subsidiary Deporgen has introduced TOPIGS genetics to a tenth country in its region.
TOPIGS is now present in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Suriname and EcuadorTogether these countries house 850,000 sows.
Deporgen works in these countries through trade representatives and in several countries franchisees are responsible for the local production of TOPIGS genetics.
The breeding stock exported to Ecuador travelled in kennels normaly used for dogs
