Print This Page Swift replaces workers at beef, pork plants
US - Greeley, Colo. Swift and Company has filled nearly 1300 positions left open when immigration authorities rounded up workers at its Nebraska plant and five others.The meatpacking giant said the raids cost it as much as 50 (m) million dollars.
A Swift spokesman also said today that a strategic review to determine the company's future is continuing but no decision has been made.
