Print This Page Animal Health Products Expand Into Belarus
BELARUS - Chr. Hansen’s in-feed probiotic BioPlus®2B for pigs enters the Belarus market via a distribution agreement with Biocom Ltd.BioPlus®2B is the first microbial feed additive that obtained final EU registration and the second of the Chr. Hansen animal health products to be sold in Belarus via Biocom. Biomax®, a silage inoculant containing natural lactid acid bacteria for efficient livestock production, has been on the market the last 2 years.
“We are very happy about this agreement with Biocom Ltd. We have a very fine cooperation on Biomax® today, and we expect good results for BioPlus®2B too. Belarus has a large and growing pig production, and is therefore very interesting for us,” saysTrine Hastrup, Vice President Animal Health, Chr. Hansen.
