JSR Appoints Commercial Director

Commenting on his appointment, Tim Rymer, JSR Chairman said "We are delighted that Carlos is joining the board in the Commercial Director role. He has a proven track record in the pig breeding business of delivering growth and margin in challenging markets".

Dr Carlos Peralta who joined JSR in 2006 as Business Manager for the Americas, sees an opportunity to build on JSR's established name and commitment to grow the business in international markets. "I am joining an ambitious Company, with a talented team of people to work with. The science based genetic improvement programmes that we can offer processors and producers gives JSR a competitive edge in delivering tailor made solutions to the worldwide pork industry".

"I am delighted we are strengthening our top team with this appointment", commented Grant Walling, JSR Research and Development Director. "Carlos will give a greater commercial focus on our Research and Development programme and, in particular, the products and services we have moving through our new product development pipeline".
