Two major pig events merge

This follows the merger of two big events - PPPE and Uptake.

Both events were highly successful in communicating the latest technology and information to Australia’s pig industry.

PPPE committee chairman, Dr Robert van Barneveld, said the decision to combine the two events made common sense.

• Having the one premier event will attract not only domestic but international interest.
  
  
• Holding the one event makes it an economically viable proposition for all participants, especially taking into consideration the financial burden the drought has had on the industry.
