Competent Partner In Finland
FINLAND – Big Dutchman, the worldwide market leader for housing equipment for modern pig management, welcomes a new partner to its tightly woven net of exclusive distributors around the world: the Finnish company SKT Suomen Karjatilatarvike Oy from Iittala has taken over the distribution of Big Dutchman pig housing equipment in Finland as of October 1, 2007.

SKT has been selling pig housing equipment for more than 30 years now and is thus an old stager in the business. Furthermore, SKT already has extensive experience with Big Dutchman know-how: “Already in 1984 SKT sold the first Big Dutchman liquid feeding system. And already then, we perceived our new distributor team as comprising very qualified and reliable experts" says Magnus Westerkamp, managing director of Big Dutchman Pig Equipment GmbH, on the occasion of the signing of the contract in Iittala.
SKT Suomen Karjatilatarvike Oy provides the electrical installation as well as delivery and assembly of housing equipment. Also part of the broad range of services are consultancy and planning. The company is located close to Tampere in southern Finland and employs nine staff members and several freelance sales representatives.
