Argentina - The Argentine agriculture department is to pay out grants of more than 12 million pesos to the dairy, flour milling and pig sectors. The payments have been agreed between the government and the National Office of Control of Agricultural Finance (ONCCA) and will be paid in four instalments.
The dairy sector is to receive just over 4.5 million pesos and 25 pig producers are to receive just under 1 million pesos.
The compensation payments are to help in the continue expansion of the different sectors that have been hit in the local markets because of the expansion of international markets.
