Romania: Pork Prices to Rise as of July
28 May 2008ROMANIA - As of July 2008, pork prices in Romania are to increase by a whopping 15%.
According to Focus, the price hike is due to the increase in fodder, materials and electricity price. The association of pig breeders says that producers will go bankrupt unless pork meat price is increased.
However, it is expected that pork prices will decrease by December.
