Japan Uses Nedap Velos for Improved Results
JAPAN - Since the end of last year, the first Nedap Velos EFS has been running in a snowy and rice-producing region in Niigata prefecture of Japan.

Mr. Shimada, a young motivated farmer who seeks for quality production and development, currently has a dynamic group with three feed stations, one separation unit and one heat detector. He has more feed stations than required because he has an expansion plan in the future. The design of this farm allows the farmer to increase the total number of sows to 250.
Mr. Shimada is so far happy with the whole operation. His pregnant sows are being fed individually and detected for heat precisely and separated correctly. It is expected he will see good results in the coming years.

Japanese farmers show more and more interest in group housing with ESF. Already since the start-up of Nedap Velos the company's dealer Kyodo international who installed the project successfully has had many different requests.

Nedap Velos is a product from the company Nedap N.V. located in the Netherlands. Nedap has more than 30 years experience in electronic sow feeding systems. At this moment Velos is feeding sows all around the world.
