New Date Set for Outlook Conference
UK - A new date has now been set for the Outlook Conference jointly hosted by EBLEX and BPEX.The event was due to be held on 3 February but had to be postponed because of the transport chaos caused by the weather.
The new date is Wednesday, 8 April and the venue remains One Great George Street, London.
A revised conference brochure will be sent out and it would be helpful if people could email to reconfirm their attendance. There is no need to fill out the faxback form a second time unless details have changed.
The email address to indicate your intentions, either to attend or not, is rita.webb@ahdbms.org.uk
The programme remains largely unchanged though Sue Popple of the Defra Science Directorate replaces the original speaker Professor Bob Watson who is not able to attend on the new date.
Head of Economic and Policy Analysis Group Stephen Rossides said: ”Despite having to reschedule Outlook, we have retained the original thought-provoking programme and a stimulating range of speakers.
“The postponement has allowed us to include even more up-to-date data to make longer-term forecasts for the whole of 2010.”
