Print This Page Villagers Want Ban on Pig Rearing
TAMIL NADU, INDIA - The residents of Sadayamangalam Panchayat in Thuckalay Panchayat Union have urged the district administration to ban pig rearing in and around their village.In this connection, they lodged a complaint to the District Revenue Officer, Kalaiselvan on Monday by stating that they were put into untold hardship owing to pig menace.
The hygiene and environment of the village would be affected, if the district administration fail to take immediate action against the menace. The Hindu reports that they also passed a resolution in the panchayat in this connection.
The vice-president of Sadayamangalam, Yesudhasan and others met the DRO.
