Print This Page Norway Reports Total of Five A/H1N1 Outbreaks
NORWAY - The total number of A/H1N1 influenza in the country has now reached a total of five, according to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The Norwegian specialists sent Follow-up Report No.4 to the OIE on Wednesday, 11 November.
The latest outbreak was confirmed on 24 October at a pig farm in Akershus county.
Introduction of new live animals is considered to main source of the disease outbreak, followed by contact with infected humans.
Several measures have been applied to stop the spread of the virus in the country.
