First Step to Global Standards in Vet Training
FRANCE - Global collaborative work has delivered the first recommendations on veterinary education.
World deans and directors of veterinary training institutions and key national veterinary education policy makers provided their final contributions in the hundreds for the making of the first global recommendations on veterinary education.
Now speaking with one voice the deans, directors of veterinary training institutions and veterinary education policy makers have provided great collaborative work in commenting on the initial draft of recommendations presented to them at the OIE conference 'Evolving veterinary education for a safer world' (12 to 14 October 2009, Paris, France). They have agreed on the way veterinary education must evolve worldwide and the role the OIE and partners will undertake in supporting this evolution.
The Organising committee of the Conference processed all the contributions received and summarised the final recommendations.
