Print This Page Another Russian Wild Boar Dies of ASF
RUSSIA - Another wild boar has been found dead, and tested positive for African swine fever (ASF).
The Russian veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 15 dated 15 January to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
According to the report, one wild boar was found dead near the settlement of Anastasievka in the Krasnodar Kray region, near the Black Sea.
Tests confirmed the cause of death was ASF.
