More Weaner Exports to Germany This Year

DENMARK - The Danish breeding herd increased around four percent last year as producers seek to cash in on the higher price paid for weaners exported to Germany and (to a lesser extent) Poland.
Last year weaner exports increased to seven million, a third more than in 2008.
The increase in the Danish sow herd indicates a further growth in weaner exports this year.
