Ukraine Bans Pork Imports from Russia
31 March 2010UKRAINE - Ukraine banned imports of pigs and pork meat from South, Central and Privolzhkiya Federal District of Russia, the UNIAN agency said, citing the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine.
According to Focus Information Agency, the ban was imposed yesterday, 30 March, in conjunction with the release of the International Bureau for Epidemiological Registration of Swine Fever in the administrative territory of Volgograd, Saratov and Voronezh districts in the Russian Federation.
