More Reports of ASF in Krasnodar Krai

RUSSIA - The Russian veterinary authorities have reported yet another outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in Krasnodar Krai.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 56 dated 16 May.

According to the report, a total of 12 animals were found susceptible to the disease, out of which 6 cases were identified. The death of 5 pigs was recorded, and the remaining 7 animals were destroyed.

The source of the outbreak is still under investigation.
