Dead Pigs Found in the Bryansk Oblast
01 June 2011RUSSIA - Four dead pigs were found near the Settlement of Rogovskoye of the Komarichsky Rayon in the Bryansk Oblast (30 kilometres from the highway between Kiev and Moscow) on 28 May, according to the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Bryansk Oblast.
Samples of biological material were taken from the dead animals. The pathological material samples were sent to the laboratory of the All Russian State Centre for Quality and Standardization of Veterinary Drugs and Feed (VGNKI). According to the veterinary and sanitary rules, animal carcasses were incinerated and disinfection was performed.
A request for the case investigation was submitted to the Regional Department of Internal Affairs of the Komarichsky Rayon.
