Auvergne Pork Protected
04 August 2011FRANCE - The European Commission has added three names of agricultural and food products to the list of protected designations of origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
Among these is Porc d'Auvergne from France, which has been granted PGI status.
The three names have been added to the list of over 1,000 products already protected under the legislation on protection of geographical indications, designations of origin and traditional specialties.
