ARMENIA - The Armenian veterinary authorities have reported eleven new outbreaks of African swine fever.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 3 on Wednesday, 28 September.

A total of 22 animals were found susceptible to the disease. All 22 animals were found affected by the outbreak and were destroyed.

Although the source of the outbreak has not been confirmed, vectors and contact with wild species are considered the primary sources.
