Two New Outbreaks of ASF Reported in Russia

RUSSIA - The Russian veterinary authorities have reported two new outbreaks of African swine fever in Rostovskaya and Voronezhskaya Oblasts.
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 71 earlier today (9 November).
A total of 9,632 swine showed signs of susceptibility, out of which 25 cases were reported. 24 deaths were recorded, and 9,608 animals were destroyed.
The source of the outbreak remains unknown and is under investigation.
