Industry Day: Healthy Food from Healthy Animals

UK - On 25 April, the British Society of Animal Science (BSAS) annual conference Industry Day will see world-leading researchers share their knowledge on livestock systems which offer more to animals, farmers, consumers and the environment.

Industry experts from around the world will discuss:

  • How to improve health and welfare in ruminants, pigs and poultry

  • Latest developments in livestock genomics and genetics

  • How to get the best from animal feed

Other sessions will include animal behaviour and welfare, tackling livestock disease, climate change, meat quality and the latest veterinary science.

This year the British Society of Animal Science annual conference will study the role of livestock production in helping feed the world with healthy, nutritious and sustainable food.
