Places are going quickly for the event, at One Great George Street, on May 2, jointly hosted by the BPEX, DairyCo and EBLEX divisions of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).

Established more than a decade ago, it will see two keynote speeches, from Allan Wilkinson, head of agriculture at HSBC, and Giles Quick, director of Kantar Worldpanel, before breakout sessions to allow delegates to discuss sector specific forecasts and issues.

AHDB Market Intelligence director Ken Boyns said: “It is a critical time for the red meat and dairy sectors. Uncertain global supply, rising costs of production, pressure on consumer prices and a changing world market will all be covered on the day.

“The aim is to leave delegates with a broader view of the markets to inform their business decisions for the rest of 2012 and beyond.“
