Cracker Barrel Latest to Ban Pork Gestation Crates
US - Another restaurant chain has announced plans to quit buying pork from producers who raise sows in stalls. Cracker Barrel executives say there’s “an evolution“ in attitudes about livestock operations that keep pregnant sows separated into metal crates that are approximately two feet by seven feet.
