OIE: Classical Swine Fever Outbreak in Mongolia

MONGOLIA - An outbreak of classical swine fever has bee reported to the OIE by Dr Batsukh Zayat, Chief Veterinary officer, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The outbreak occurred on the 4 September at a farm in Darkhan soum, Darkhan-ull.
Of the 122 pigs susceptible, the outbreak led to 35 cases, resulting in 35 deaths and 87 destroyed.
The source of the outbreak is unknown and control measures have been applied.
