Further Outbreaks of ASF in Russia and Lithuania

RUSSIA and LITHUANIA - Three new outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been discovered in Russia and two in Lithuania.

The outbreaks were found in wild boar as well as pigs.

In Western Russia, two wild boar died as a result of the disease, as well as five pigs. Thirty one susceptible pigs were also destroyed.

One female and one male wild boar found dead in Lithuania also tested positive for the disease.
