US - This week's hog slaughter totaled a record 2.532 million head, up 5.5 per cent from last week, up 7.2 per cent from the same week last year, and 8,000 head above the old record set just two weeks ago, writes Ron Plain and Scott Brown, Ag Economics, MU.
