The following precautions should be followed when stock arrives at the farm:

• Offload pigs as far away as possible.
• Do not offload via a loading ramp.
• Do not allow farm contact with any part of the lorry.
• Once an animal has left the lorry it cannot be returned.
• On arrival change into overalls and boots and disinfect.
• Reverse prior to leaving.
