An excess of vitamin D would be unusual but where it occurs either by faulty additions to feed or by long acting injections clinical symptoms would be seen.

These would include poor growth rates increased ??? and because calcium may be deposited in the lungs and heart, signs of respiratory problems. Provided the case has not progressed removal of the excess from the diet will allow a response in 3-4 weeks.
