The website has been available in English for the past few weeks but now summary versions in French, Spanish and German have been developed and have just gone live.

The event is being run by the British Pig Executive and the Meat and Livestock Commission in conjunction with the International Meat Secretariat.

BPEX Chief Executive Mick Sloyan said: “This unique event which brings together senior executives of many of the world’s leading pig production and processing companies, really seems to have caught the imagination.“ The web address is www.worldporkcongress.com and the site, which contains the outline programme, hotels and venue details, information about the surrounding area and details of how to book, is being constantly updated.

The Congress will be a strategic, forward looking and business-oriented event which will also be an excellent networking opportunity for all delegates and speakers.“
