Bill Introduced To Cut Costs Of Meat Origin Labeling Law

WASHINGTON - U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., has introduced a new bill aimed at cutting the record-keeping costs for the beef and pork industry to comply with the mandatory country-of-origin labeling law, slated to be implemented next year.
