Cheap imports spoil xmas cheer

UK - Pig producers do not have much Christmas cheer to look forward to this year, as cheap imports continue to undercut the market by up to 20p/kg. Although 20-30 years ago retail demand for pigmeat used to improve in the run-up to Christmas, recently December has become much more of a negative month.
