THE VOICE OF THE UK PIG INDUSTRY

NPA is active on members' behalf in Brussels & White-hall, and with pro-cessors, supermarkets & caterers – fighting for the growth and pros-perity of the UK pig industry.

The shipment, which included 22 boars, is a first for Northern Ireland, and may herald more of the same.

The pigs will be used to establish nucleus herds in the Ukraine, the progeny from which will be made available to commercial pig producers. A key factor in Deerpark winning the order was Northern Ireland's high health status.

"This is something we must ensure is retained for the future," said Robert Overend.
