Brussels to bring back export refunds?

UK - Pigmeat market managers in Brussels are expected to reintroduce export refunds on Friday (Jan 23) for fresh product going outside the EU in an attempt to prop up internal prices. The move follows the introduction of a private storage aid scheme in December, which so far has taken 55,000t of pigmeat off the market.
