Imports still hurting pig values
UK - Domestic pig prices continue to be affected by cheaper imports, despite a slight recovery in EU values. GB cull sow quotes are often the first barometer of significant price movements in the EU and exporters have raised their bids by 2-4p/kg, reflecting better EU demand.
