Odor Control Accomplished With AWRS Swine Waste Treatment
US - Pork producers attending the Iowa Pork Congress were given their first look at a totally new approach of recapturing the value of swine waste, while cutting associated odors 97 percent and preserving 97 percent of the nutrients for use as a value-added dry fertilizer product. The new system, developed by Ag Waste Recovery Systems Inc. (AWRS), Ames, Iowa, holds huge promise for protecting groundwater quality in the process.
